And I am thinking about running a server over stdin/stdout (well, a
predefined descriptor), thus moving authentication/additional-
compression/encryption - and transmission protocol support - out of it.
Should work just fine on UNIX and would be nice to make it structured this
way on other platforms (with that simple byteflow interface in between).
Then you may run it everywhere... with a variety of
protocol/auth/encryption options being available and pluggable.
If nobody implements this hack soon, I'll do... out-of-the-box vnc is
really great (!) but does not fit our circumstances, i.e. NFS homedirs,
read no-protection.
Somebody else liking the idea of separating the image/event machine from
the authentication/daemon part?
