Hi all,

I've tried to get 3.3.1r16 up and running on an old 486DX4/100 server I =
have lying around, with an old video board that can only display 640x480 =
or 800x600 in 16 colors. It boots both NT and 95 (I have a CD-ROM burner =
attached to it, and it only works properly under 95).

Basically, when I try to connect from my laptop (640x480x8 bit) or from =
my main machine (1024x768x24 bit), WinVNC just dies on me after a while =
- or worse, running it as a service under NT gives me a blue screen when =
I close the standalone viewer _or_ when I try to start a Java client =
session (not very nice behaviour for a server...).=20

Setting up WinVNC as a service or as a standalone app on my main machine =
also fails. It runs NTWS 4.0 (w/SP3), with IE 4.01 installed without =
the desktop update.

Connecting from any other machine wipes out the current Explorer =
instance on the server and closes the connection instantly.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rui Carmo
