Making viewer listen for server

First of all, let me just say that I love this tool.  Many thanks to ORL
for making it publicly available.

Now, on to the serious stuff:  I want to set up the Windows viewer to
auto-listen for server startups.  I may have read the documentation
incorrectly, but I get the impression that this requires a re-compile of
the viewer.  Is that the case?  If so, has anyone done it and could I
beg a copy off of you?  I don't have a compiler set up to make binaries
for a Windows platform, and that's more grief than I really want to put
myself through for the minor convenience of being able to pop uninvited
pictures of horrible things onto the desktops of my unsuspecting
co-workers.
