resent since I did not see it come back
-----
I have VNCviewer under NT 4.0 connected to Linux RH 5.0.
I can open some windows (XZIP) but an xterm does not open, nor does
xkoules. Nor does xeyes.
When I did get XZIP open I could not remove focus from the main xterm.
The mouse marks in the window, and the cursor changes, but I cannot move
the scroll bar of the X window.
I see that twm is running. I have tried to switch to fvwm2 (running
already) with no luck.
-----
does VNC require X to be on the machine to run the the server?
----
Very cool product. BTW WinVNCServer ran fine to VNCviewer client under
linux.
