vnc display problem

This is exactly how it should be, Xvnc is the X-server and it runs 
locally on vncserver.domain.com at display 1. BTW, since that is so, 
client apps dont suffer from broken network connections when run on 
vncserver.domain.com - a great advantage esp. when connecting over 
unreliable lines.

Sure. You schould setenv DISPLAY vncserver.domain.com:1 (or whatever 
display Xvnc runs at - vncserver did tell you on startup).
