Shifted keys and WinVNC R13

Howdy.

Has anyone else noticed problems with sending ANY shifted keys (not
just the function keys as someone else reported) to WinVNC server R13?
Capital letters can't even be sent - the shift gets ignored and just
the lower case character appears...

BTW - switching back to WinVNC R9 works (didn't have any other
versions to try) and the vncviewer is running on an AIX box.
