VNC Colors Blueshifted

I know it's pretty minor, but I was wondering if there is a way to
calibrate out the color differences which occur when I use vnc between a
linux box and an NT desktop. If run the server on linux, and the viewer
on NT, the colors look blue shifted. This does not happen when I run the
viewer on another linux box.

Clearly this doppler shift is due to Linux overtaking NT (somewhat
suprising since the linux box is a Pentium-120, and the NT machine is a
PII-300, but we all know about those relativity paradoxes). Is the right
way to calibrate this out to adjust the -bgamma value for the X server, or
is there something else going on?

Thanks for any info,

- Eric
