As the original developers of VNC remote-access technology our software is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide from the non-technical home user to IT professionals from global companies, such as Intel, IBM, DreamWorks, NASA and many more.
Due to our expanding product range and ever increasing global demand for RealVNC software we urgently require experienced, talented Software Sales Executives to join our growing Sales team. These roles offer excellent opportunities for personal and professional development while working towards realistic sales targets with absolutely no cold calling and an uncapped commission structure with genuinely achievable OTE's.
The responsibilities of this role include
- Owning the complete sales cycle – investigating and qualifying leads, identifying requirements, negotiating pricing and closing deals
- Responding to new leads quickly and professionally
- Developing relationships with existing customers
- Building and managing a strong sales pipeline
- Providing accurate, timely quarterly sales reports for management review
- Supporting the Sales Team Leaders with activities consistent with the responsibilities of the role
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and acting as a representative of RealVNC at all times
What we are looking for
- Proven sales ability with quota beating inside sales (experience within the B2B IT services/software industry is desirable)
- Ability to identify customer requirements and any obstacles to the sales process and provide solutions using RealVNC products
- A consultative, professional approach to selling
- A head for business and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
- A confident, motivated, professional personality and style
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers
- Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills including an excellent telephone manner
- Effective time management and organizational skills with superb attention to detail
- A passionate interest in technology
- The flexibility to encompass global sales cycles is an essential requirement for these roles
Hours
These are full time posts based at our central Cambridge Head Office working 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday) however flexibility may be required to accommodate a global market.
